2022 Big Broadcast Survey (BBS) Reports Now Available

Josh Stinehour | August 25, 2022

The 2022 Big Broadcast Survey Reports are now available.

This year marks the 14th consecutive year Devoncroft Partners has conducted the Big Broadcast Survey (BBS), which remains the largest annual demand-side study of the global broadcast and media technology sector. A special thanks to the several thousand global respondents to this year’s survey efforts (you will receive a copy of this year’s Executive Summary once the write-up is complete).

Each year we update the suppliers, product categories, and market data points profiled based on feedback from technology vendors, media companies, and investors. Last year’s feedback led us to continue to evolve the survey to track the next order effects of the media industry’s transition to next-generation technology infrastructure.

We will publish selected highlights from this year’s BBS reports on the Devoncroft website over the next weeks and months and will also review excerpts of the 2022 study at the upcoming Devoncroft Executive Summit | Amsterdam. Articles will post on a semi-regular basis, so please check back often.  To receive posts when published, please enter register with your email in the box in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

For those parties interested in additional information on the full 2022 BBS reports, please call or email us.

Three types of 2022 BBS reports are available for interested parties:

  • 2022 BBS Product Reports: provide detailed information from buyers, specifiers, and users of broadcast technology products in 27 separate categories (see full list below)
