Previously, as the Founder and Principal of the Triskel organization, Loic successfully built and led a premier consulting group, assembling top-tier industry experts specialized in media technology solutions. With a deep commitment to technological excellence, he has played a pivotal role in mentoring teams and implementing best-in-class systems across various high-profile organizations.

Loic’s comprehensive expertise encompasses artificial intelligence, system architecture, and advanced software design and implementation, reinforcing his reputation as a strategic technologist and thought leader committed to pushing the boundaries of digital media innovation.

 

Raymundo Barros

Chief Technology Officer

 

As CTO at Globo, Raymundo Barros is responsible for overseeing engineering and technology operations.

He led and spearheaded major initiatives such as the transition to digital TV and the creation and distribution of 4K, 4K HDR and 8K content.

Before assuming his role as CTO, Barros worked as Engineering Manager at an affiliate, Director of Engineering at Globo Sao Paulo, and Director of Engineering for Entertainment, where he led projects for telenovelas, series and variety shows.

 

Simon Crownshaw

Worldwide Strategy Director Media & Entertainment

 

With nearly two decades of experience across the digital media landscape, Simon has a comprehensive background in production, postproduction, and the entire media supply chain. Prior to joining Microsoft, he led technical solutions and strategy at several studios and broadcasters.


Simon Crownshaw has held the position of Worldwide Media and Entertainment Director at Microsoft for the last four years. In this capacity, he provides leadership, guidance, and strategy to teams involved in studios, broadcasting, sports, experiences and live events, as well as the solutions that support these areas. His role encompasses assisting numerous global clients in leveraging Microsoft’s capabilities to enhance media workflows, with a particular focus on media cloud adoption and the integration of critical data and AI technologies poised to transform content creation and delivery in the future.

Albert Lai

Global Director – Media & Entertainment

 

Albert Lai is the global Strategic Consumer Industries director for the Media & Entertainment team for Google Cloud. His focus is on helping media organizations transform their business and deliver new audience experiences.

Prior to joining Google, Albert was the SVP/GM of Hallmark Labs, where he led the development and growth of Hallmark Channel’s SVOD service, consumer digital products, and enterprise AI/ML and data management initiatives. As Brightcove CTO for Media, Albert led the formation and growth of the global media business unit and its technical leadership, expanding the company’s multi-platform solutions and advancing its next generation video platform. He served on the technical advisory board of immersive video distribution platform Vrideo, in addition to holding senior positions at prior appointments with OTT service providers and technology providers to OTT service providers.

Albert earned his bachelor of science in computer science from Stanford University. He resides in Greater Houston.

 

Daniel Lawson

SVP, Global Solutions

 

Daniel Lawson is the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions in the Verizon Business Group (VBG). In this role, he is responsible for leading the primary technology practice areas and GTM motions that make up the VBG portfolio. This includes Cybersecurity, Connected Experiences, and High Density Networking as well as Complex Deal Executives, Global Technology Partners, Pre-Sales Solution Architects, and Engineers to drive revenue & enable growth across Global Enterprise & Public Sector through opportunity ownership, solution design and thought leadership. Global Solutions serves as the voice of the market, the customer and the field back into the Verizon ecosystem.

In his previous role as Vice President of Solutions Architecture, Daniel drove results, customer relationships, and thought leadership within Verizon’s US-based Enterprise and Public Sector segments by leading a unified team of engineers and architects working across the VBG portfolio to deliver technology-enabled outcomes that were critical to our customers’ organizational objectives. During earlier leadership roles over 20+ years with Verizon, Daniel has led the Signature client segment SA’s; run the Network, Applications, and Innovation team; supported private and public sector customers; the financial, manufacturing, and healthcare industries; and many internal initiatives. He has extensive background in business strategy; finance & accounting; strategic sourcing; enterprise networking; mobility; IoT; cloud; outsourcing and managed services; optical transport; unified communications and collaboration; contact center; and security technologies.

Daniel is an active supporter of local Dallas charities benefitting the American Heart Association and Alzheimer’s research. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University.

 

Brinton Miller

EVP, Media Technology & Operations

 

As Executive Vice President, Media Technology & Operations, Brinton Miller is responsible for WBD’s global media engineering and operations functions supporting Live Production, Post Production, Broadcast, Distribution and Content Publishing. Miller works closely with WBD’s News, Sports, Network, Studios and Digital leadership teams to develop WBD’s strategic technology plans, investments, and implementations.

Warner Bros. Discovery, a premiere global media and entertainment company, was founded in April 2022, when Discovery merged with WarnerMedia.

Previously, Miller was responsible for the Media Engineering and Operations teams at Discovery’s domestic production and broadcast facilities.

Miller holds a Master of Science from George Washington University’s School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University. He is based at Warner Bros. Discovery’s CNN offices in Washington DC.

Hobbies – Foodie, Robotics, Watchmaking, and I collect so many things I won’t try to list them all. In addition, I’m heavily involved in a non-profit I co-founded called the David’s Harp Foundation.

 

Stephanie Mitchko

EVP, Global Media Operations & Technology

 

Stephanie Mitchko is Executive Vice President, Global Media Operations & Technology of AMC Networks.

In her role, Mitchko is responsible for overseeing the company’s global technology and operations across all business units, including leading information technology, media and broadcast operations and content delivery, cybersecurity, supply chain technologies and products and streaming product operations and customer service.

An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Mitchko has a proven track record of successfully driving data driven operations and business results and industry-leading evolutionary products across the cable, entertainment and advanced advertising industry. Prior to joining AMC Networks, Mitchko was Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Charter Communications and Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer of CadentTV. Earlier in her career, Mitchko held a number of roles throughout Cablevision, including Senior Vice President of Video Infrastructure Software, overseeing the critical functions of technical product definition, engineering development and architecture around the backend platform for converged consumer media navigation and consumption experience.

A recipient of several industry honors, Mitchko received an Emmy award for Best Interactive Television Platform for Cablevision’s iO Interactive Television ,a Technical Emmy award for Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Media Technology for the Creation of Non-Traditional Programs or Platforms for Cablevision’s iO Interactive Optimum Digital Cable as well as Emmy for Pioneering work in Implementation & Deployment of Network DVR Mitchko has also been named a Multichannel News Wonder Woman and one of Cablefax Magazine’s Most Powerful Women.

Mitchko holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU-Poly in New York and Certificate from the SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program at Dartmouth. She teaches as a guest lecturer at NYU/Stern Graduate School and is a member of the NYU Poly Enterprise Learning Board.

Damien Viel

Chief Digital & Innovation Officer

 

As Chief Digital & Innovation Officer, Damien Viel is charged with the group’s overarching marketing and digital diversification strategies, and spearheading innovation worldwide.

He joined the business in 2023, after a seven-year stint as Managing Director for Twitter in France, where he led the global brand’s local business development and operations. For two years during this tenure, he was also a strategy committee member for Idinvest/Eurazeo.

With a strong track record in the digital space, Viel spent 2011-2015 at Google, the latter part as Director, YouTube and Google Brand solutions for Southern/Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa. Prior to this, he was Deputy General Manager for M6 Publicité, the advertising arm of M6 Groupe, and was also a member of the RTL Group European Trade Executive Committee. With an illustrious career to date, he has acted as General Manager for CARAT France (an Aegis Media company), and before that, he spent seven years with L’Oreal, holding various marketing responsibilities in France and Asia, having graduated from ESSEC.

 

Jon Wilson

Jon Wilson is Grass Valley’s President & COO, where he works closely with the leadership team and customers to drive operational excellence and innovation. With extensive experience in financial strategy and business scaling, Jon previously held key roles at Telestream—including CFO and later President & COO—gaining invaluable insights into operational leadership and financial management. Recognized as a high-impact leader, he has a proven track record in developing effective strategies, building high-performance teams, and fostering both internal and external relationships.

 

Phil Wiser

EVP & Chief Technology Officer

Phil Wiser is an industry-leading technology and digital media entrepreneur and executive. He serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Paramount, leading the global technology strategy, shared services, operations and transformation of the combined company. He reports to Naveen Chopra, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Paramount.

Prior to the merger of Viacom and CBS in December 2019, Wiser was the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of CBS Corporation, where he oversaw the technology strategy and development across the company’s entire business portfolio. Before joining CBS, Wiser served as Chief Technology Officer at Hearst. In this role, he managed Hearst’s technology migration to the cloud, and established a data-driven, cloud-first media environment for its digital businesses. Wiser was also the Chief Technology Officer at Sony Corporation of America and Sony Music, responsible for creating the digital businesses at Sony Music, including the forging of the groundbreaking deal to launch iTunes.

Earlier in his career, Wiser was a key pioneer in the creation of the online digital music industry and the over-the-top TV market as founder of Liquid Audio and Sezmi. Both companies were the first to create commercial Internet-based media offerings in music and television. With numerous patents issued for these efforts, he broke new ground across the areas of IP based content delivery, machine recommendation systems, video delivery over the Internet and cybersecurity.

 

Josh Stinehour

Principal Analyst

 

Josh Stinehour is a principal analyst with Devoncroft Partners, a provider of market research and strategic consulting services to a wide range of digital media clients and institutional investors. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and trade shows in the media technology sector.

Prior to joining Devoncroft, Mr. Stinehour was a managing director at Silverwood Partners in the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications group. While at Silverwood, Mr. Stinehour executed a range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and private placements.

Before joining Silverwood, Mr. Stinehour worked in various positions at EMC Corporation including as a software programmer and later as an analyst on integration teams for EMC’s acquisitions of Documentum, Legato, and VMWare.

Josh loves (and has an encyclopedic knowledge of) college football and NBA basketball (although he thinks college basketball is an inferior product).  His hobbies include monetary policy, civic planning, and adventure travel.

He holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, an MS in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a BS in computer science from Union College. Mr. Stinehour is a CFA charterholder.
